What is the difference between morning after-pill and abortion pill?

The morning-after pill [1] (levonorgestrel, ulipristal) is a form of emergency contraception that can be used to prevent pregnancy from occurring after unprotected sex. It works by preventing ovulation (release of an egg) or by preventing the egg from meeting the sperm. The abortion pill is different because it ends a pregnancy that has already occurred.
